The board is responsible for chartering and oversight of the JobLink Career Centers and the review, comment and coordination of other employment and training programs in the region. Also, to increase the involvement of the business and industry community, including small businesses, minority business enterprises, female-owned businesses, and public agencies, including labor organizations, in workforce development activities for the region.
